"TOP 10 Mistakes You Can Make When REGIFTING"

#10.) Giving them something that is out of date.

Examples include software from the late 90 's,

#9.) Giving them something with the receipt still in the box, dating back over a year ago...

No one shops that early in advance, and you know it!

#8.) Giving the extra gift that comes with a fragrance package.

An example would be a baseball cap that says "Cool Water" or "Aqua di Gio"

#7.) Giving them a gift with the same wrapping paper.

They might recognize it. And they might get mad.

#6.) Giving them half of a gift

This would include giving the pants of a jogging set without the track jacket.
Think about it, would you give them one shoe?

#5.) Giving anything that has perishable food in it and is, indeed, perished.

You can't go wrong with wine but stay away from candy canes or stale popcorn from 2007.

#4.) Giving something that has been recalled...

You would really have to not like this person at all.

#3.) Giving something that has been overly used...

If you're going to give someone a glove, it better not smell like your hand.

#2.) Giving a gift card that you have already used...

A $25 gift card to Best Buy with $14.38 on it. You can't give that away if you already used it to buy pink headphones with it.

#1.) Giving the gift to someone that GAVE YOU that gift...

WHAT

A

DISASTER !!!

"TOP 10 THINGS TO HAVE IN YOUR HOME DURING THE HOLIDAYS "

#10.) Fake snow (sprayed on the window)

Especially in the south, because we don't get to see the real thing.

#9.) Dancing Santa

I've seen this at about 15 people's houses. Every single one of them is proud and thinks they are the only one who has it. I had it in my dorm freshman year.

#8.) Mistletoe

Great for parties, except you don't want to catch your parents under it. Just keep it out of the kitchen.

#7.) Cinnamon Candles

It's like hexing the Aggies some more.

#6.) Wreath

Although it gets annoying when it falls off your door when you slam the door, it makes a convenient nest for advertisements.

#5.) Stockings

Because a lump of coal never gets old, as long as you get them something legit too.

#4.) Christmas music playing

See Christmas blog #1 for suggestions.

#3.) Christmas lights

To reduce your December electric bill, turn it off after midnight. It looks awkward when it's on in the morning.

#2.) Christmas Tree

I have 4 in my house, one of them stays up year round.

Gotta put the presents somewhere...

#1.) Nativity set

THE REASON FOR THE SEASON!!

Chrismas blog #1

Hey ya'll. So I'm going to post a blog for the next 12 days during this wonderful holiday season. Everything will be something fun and EASY TO READ.

The first shall be a list of the TOP 10 CHRISTMAS SONGS OF ALL TIME ( in my expert opinion)

Many people's favorite thing about Christmas is the awesome music. Let's count down...

#10 Peace on Earth/ Little Drummer Boy by David Bowie/ Bing Crosby

#9 "Christmas Star" - Home Alone 2 Soundtrack

#8 "Merry Christmas Darling" by The Carpenters

#7 "Last Christmas" by Wham! (George Michael)

#6 "All I want for Christmas is You" by Mariah Carey

#5 "White Christmas" by Bing Crosby

#4 "Silver Bells" by Stevie Wonder

#3 "Jingle Bell Rock" by Bobby Helms

#2 "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree" by Brenda Lee

#1 "THE CHRISTMAS SONG" by Nat King Cole

This was an extremely difficult list to compile. To give myself a little peace of mind, I'd like to throw in a couple honorable mentions:

"Winder Wonderland" by the Eurythmics
"Sleighride" by the Ronettes
"This Christmas" by Donny Hathaway
"Wonderful Christmas Time" by Paul McCartney
"White Christmas" by the Drifters

Let me know if I left any out.

Cheers,

Lance
